Since its inception, the company has been involved in several high-profile projects such as the Renovation of the National Stadium and the Building of the Federal Secretariat Complex in Akwa/Ibom State and Jigawa State, among others.

GCC has enjoyed excellent growth in high-profile government buildings and road construction. The initial growth was fueled mainly by contracts from the Nigerian Police Force, Police Affairs Ministry, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Sports Commission, and F.C.T, among others. The company gained recognition for successfully building local housing and offices for Federal, State, and Local Governments and communities. In 1990, the company expanded its engineering department to road and highway construction.
